To My Reader

Wishlist Wednesday #25

wishlist-wednesdayIt’s time for another Wishlist Wednesday! This weekly book-related blog hop was started by Dani at Pen to Paper and each week those who participate share one book that they desperately want to add to their bookshelf. I don’t know about you, but I’m constantly finding new titles that I feel deserve a spot on my shelf. So without further ado here’s this weeks pick.

This week I decided to pick a sequel that I’ve been wanting to get my hands on for a while. This story is unlike anything I’ve ever read and probably will ever read in my lifetime. The debut novel contained chilling prose, and a love story like no other.

23492288Title: Hidden Bodies

Author: Caroline Kepnes

Format: Hardcover, 448 pages.

Expected publication: February 23rd 2016 by Atria/Emily Bestler Books.

Goodreads Summary: Charmingly murderous anti-hero Joe Goldberg continues his twisted quest for the perfect love in this thrilling follow-up to the “deeply dark yet mesmerizing” You. When Joe follows the woman he wants to marry to the West Coast, he never imagines that his obsession will lead him to such tragedy.

I never expected to love the first book, “You” as much as I did. After all, it’s about a stalker and his muse. (Review of You) When I learned that the author was continuing this twisted tale I preordered the book instantly. These books are so different from anything else out there and Caroline Kepnes really knows how to write. I can’t wait to read Hidden Bodies in February. Has anyone else read You?

What do you think?
