I’ve got another weekly blog hop for you! Thursday Quotables was started by Bookshelf Fantasies where those who choose to participate share a quote from the book they’re reading this week. It can be anything from funny, heart wrenching, or just beautifully written. Now’s the time to share.
This weeks Quotable comes from…
Title: Omens (Cainsville #1)
Author: Kelley Armstrong
As I started down the stairwell, though, I could hear a child skipping along the hallway below, the irregular tap-tap of little shoes as she sang.
Monday’s child is fair of face,
Tuesday’s child is full of grace,
“Wednesday’s child is full of woe,” I whispered, then stopped myself.
Pretty creepy, right? This particular scene in the book was so eerie and frightening. I had to re-read that section in order to find the exact lines to quote, and It still freaks me out.
What lines made you laugh, cry, or gasp this week? Do tell!
